Michael Veal D.C. CCEP LRCC BSc Hons Chiropractic 2001
Originally from Cornwall in the U.K, Michael in conjunction with his wife and fellow Chiropractor, Olivia, established Gorey Family Chiropractic in 2005, long before the arrival and expansion of their family to include their three boys, Sebastian, Christian and Elliot.
Michael qualified with an Honours degree in Chiropractic from the University of Glamorgan, Wales in 2001 and on completion of his degree, he moved to the South West of England to finish his fifth and final year of Chiropractic education and was registered with the General Chiropractic Council UK, the regulatory body for Chiropractors in the U.K.
His time in the Southwest centred around private practice and also offered excellent opportunity to pursue further postgraduate studies in the U.K within special interest areas such as diagnosis and management of extremity conditions, medical dry needling and orthotic therapy.
In practice in Gorey, Michael spends a considerable amount of his clinical time assisting clients with complex back pain and spinal nerve complaints, particularly individuals, who may have failed to recover previously and he finds working with and helping such clients extremely rewarding.
When not in practice, Michael is often found at Gorey Tennis club or on the sideline at Buffers Alley GAA club cheering on one of his three boys.
Michael is a member of the Chiropractic Association of Ireland and a member of the Royal College of Chiropractors UK.
